NEW ISSUE OF SECURITIES (CHAPTER 6 OF LISTING REQUIREMENTS) : BONUS ISSUES PROPOSED BONUS ISSUE OF UP TO 282,134,000 NEW ORDINARY SHARES OF RM0.25 EACH IN EVERGREEN FIBREBOARD BERHAD ("EFB")("EFB SHAR

We refer to the announcements dated 20 November 2015 and 8 December 2015 in relation to the Proposed Bonus Issue ("Announcements"). Unless otherwise stated, the definitions used herein shall have the same meanings as set out in the Announcements.

On behalf of EFB, CIMB Investment Bank Berhad ("CIMB") wishes to announce that Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") has, via its letter dated 15 December 2015, approved the listing and quotation for up to 282,134,000 EFB Shares to be issued pursuant to the Proposed Bonus Issue ("Bonus Shares").

The approval of Bursa Securities is subject to the following conditions:

1. EFB and CIMB  must fully comply with the relevant provisions under the Main Market Listing Requirements ("MMLR") pertaining to the implementation of the Proposed Bonus Issue;
2. EFB and CIMB to inform Bursa Securities upon the completion of the Proposed Bonus Issue;
3. EFB to furnish Bursa Securities with a written confirmation of its compliance with the terms and conditions of Bursa Securities' approval once the Proposed Bonus Issue is completed; and
4. EFB and CIMB are required to make the relevant announcements pursuant to Paragraphs 6.35(2)(a)&(b) and 6.35(4) of the MMLR.
