Evergreen Fibreboard Berhad ("EFB") - Public Shareholding Spread as at 31/12/2005

Pursuant to the letter dated 2 December 2005 issued by Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities"), the Board of Directors of EFB wishes to announce that the Company has complied with the level of public shareholding spread as prescribed under Paragraph 8.15(1) of the Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities. The percentage of the level of public shareholding spread of EFB as at 31 December 2005 is 48.254% in the hands of 3,852 public shareholders holding not less than 100 shares each
