The Board of Directors of Evergreen Fibreboard Berhad (hereinafter referred to as "EFB" or "the Company") wishes to announce that the Company intends to seek shareholders' approval for the following matters: -
a) Proposed renewal of shareholders' mandate for recurrent related party transactions of a revenue or trading nature; and
b) Proposed amendments to the Articles of Association of the Company.
In compliance with Paragraph 10.09 of the Listing Requirements for the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, EFB will seek its shareholders' approval on the Proposals at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting of the Company, which is scheduled to be held on 11 May 2007.
A circular to shareholders containing information on the Proposals will be despatched to the shareholders of EFB in due course.
