The Board of Directors of EFB wishes to announce that the Company and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Evergreen Fibreboard (Nilai) Sdn Bhd had on 23rd June 2008 entered into a Business Transfer Agreement with Hume Industries (Malaysia) Berhad and Hume Fibreboard Sdn. Bhd. wherein EFN shall acquire from HFSB, the Business of HFSB, for a total purchase price RM213,230,000 (Ringgit Malaysia Two Hundred Thirteen Million Two Hundred and Thirty Thousand Only) in part cash and part shares.
